UDC 4-H Soccer

The UDC 4-H Soccer Program is run through the University of the District of Columbia’s Center for 4-H and Youth Development, part of the national 4-H youth organization that has engaged young people since the early 1900s. The program’s mission encompasses teaching important life skills through programming that develops competencies, decision-making, and problem-solving; building character through discipline, dedication, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the soccer field; providing education and training for players, parents, and coaches; promoting physical fitness and health through proper eating and exercise habits; and fostering goodwill and collaboration throughout the Washington, D.C. soccer community. As a 4-H program, UDC 4-H Soccer is part of a century-old national youth development network administered through the land-grant university system in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
