Fundplay Community
FundPlay Summits
FundPlay Summits are gatherings that create community, inspire peer learning, celebrate industry wins, and encourage growth.
We host two Summits annually: a rotating-regional Summit and our flagship Summit in New York City.

We look forward to hosting two Summits in 2026: the first in Southeast Michigan on October 16 and our flagship NYC Summit on November 11-12. These are free, invite-only events. If you are interested in attending, please contact us for registration information.
Thank you to the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation and the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund for supporting each of these convenings, respectively.

2025 FundPlay summits: NYC & BOSTON
We hosted our regional Summit at Fenway Park in Boston in 2025 to celebrate FundPlay's distribution of $625,000 worth of grants in the state over the preceding three years. FundPlay worked with Massachusetts offices to unlock this funding and has facilitated the annual distribution of this money to grassroots organizations since 2023. Massachusetts State Senator Barry Finegold, a fierce advocate for youth and youth sports, joined us at the Summit to speak with the more than 60 leaders in the room.
Our 2025 Summit in NYC featured a new slate of Impact Talks, in addition to roundtable and mainstage content, as well as for the first time taking on a two day format.

2024 fundplay summits: NYC & baltimore
After the success of the 2023 Summit, we decided to add a regional convening to make attending more accessible for our distributed partners. Hosted at Camden Yards in Baltimore, nearly 50 sports-based youth development leaders gathered to dive into the following topics, before we attended an Orioles game that evening as a group:
-
Unlocking the Power of Government
-
Utilizing Partnerships to Meet Your Strategic Goals
-
The Value of Your Data and How Best To Capture It
At the NYC Summit that November we introduced the concept of Impact Talks, providing the platform to community leaders to tell their stories of impact. Malik Garvin (right) was among the storytellers featured at the 2024 FundPlay Summit.

2023 FundPlay summit
The FundPlay Summit in November 2023 was the first-ever in-person gathering of our partners. It was a true celebration of the grassroots community heroes we get to support every day.
