Trenton Youth Wrestling and Learning Center

The mission of the Trenton Youth Wrestling & Learning Center is to instill in youth the ideals of citizenship, competitive greatness, and scholar-athleticism. TYWLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, empowers youth by offering high-quality sports instruction and mentoring to 3rd-8th grade boys and girls throughout the greater Trenton, New Jersey area, using the combination of sports and education to alter the life trajectory of underserved youth. The organization attracts top wrestlers as guest coaches and mentors, forming friendships that last a lifetime and helping participants develop the habits of successful scholar-athletes. TYWLC is supported by the Wrestlers in Business Network (Princeton Chapter) and the City of Trenton, and has launched a “Be The Bridge” capital campaign to reimagine one of Trenton’s historic buildings as a dedicated facility offering athletic, academic, and mentoring resources for the city’s youth.
