Advocacy
We advocate for our partners so more kids can access the benefits of sport.
Since 2022, FundPlay Foundation's leadership team has unlocked more than $35M in funding opportunities for youth sports organizations through Congressional earmarks, state grants, and local advocacy, to increase access to youth sports for kids in under-resourced communities.

Federal Advocacy
In late 2022, we worked with Boston Scores to help them unlock $1.7M in a federal earmark from Massachusetts Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey so they could build a field and community center in East Boston.

State-based advocacy
Through our leadership of the PLAY Sports Coalition, we have unlocked grant funding in New York, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
We have led the grantmaking process resulting in more than 30 organizations receiving state funds from Maryland and Massachusetts in order to support their programs and activities, and help cover program costs, sports gear, and the refurbishment or renovations of sports facilities.
