Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activities League
Serving Alameda County, California since 2005, the Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League (DSAL) provides free health and fitness programming to residents of all ages, including boxing, soccer, and dance. DSAL’s coaches serve as mentors and role models who build community through consistent, judgment-free access to structured sports and fitness. The organization’s mission is rooted in the belief that health and fitness participation builds strength and character, improves mental and physical health outcomes, and strengthens the social connections that help neighborhoods thrive and reduce crime. DSAL runs programs across multiple categories, including community empowerment, cultural projects, and volunteer opportunities, all offered free of charge to Alameda County residents.
